007. | Estée Lauder Pure Color Bush in Sensuous Rose

I love neutral toned blushes. I find that they are most versatile and look best on my complexion. Although I do already have a perfect neutral shade as my holy grail blush (NARS Madly), I like trying different products from time to time. I came across the Estée Lauder Pure Color Bush in Sensuous Rose at Sephora and decided to pick it up. Estée Lauder is one of my favorite high end brands, so my expectations were very high. Keep reading to see if the Estée Lauder Pure Color Bush in Sensuous Rose passed my blush test.

006. | John Frieda Frizz Ease Leave-In Conditioner

I've been using the John Frieda Frizz Ease Daily Nourishment Leave-In Conditioner on-and-off for over five years. Leave-in conditioner is a staple in my haircare routine; my hair is thicker and dry from coloring, so I need product to add extra moisture into my hair after shampooing and conditioning. I like the Frizz Ease Daily Nourishment Leave-In Conditioner because it detangles well, and is lightweight and safe for color treated hair. Read on for details.

005. | OPI Malaga Wine

A few weeks ago, Ulta was having a "buy two, get one free" sale on OPI polishes. Naturally, I picked up a few (read: way too many) bottles. Judging from the picture on the website, I thought Malaga Wine would be a pink-based red. It turns out to have burgundy undertones that show in indoor lighting. In natural light, as in the picture above, the polish is more of a true red, with slight berry hints. Malaga Wine applied beautifully and has so far worn for three days with minimal chipping, with a base and a top coat. Click here to purchase!

What is your favorite red?

004. | Essie Fishnet Stockings

Essie Fishnet Stockings is a nail color I frequently glazed over in the drugstore. I had an ongoing “pick it up, then put it down” relationship with the polish. Although red is my favorite nail color year-round, nothing about this seemed special to me at first. Plus, for the longest time, I had this false notion in my head that Essie reds didn’t perform well.

Just this week, I had a sudden urge to wear Essie Fishnet Stockings. (Yes, embarrassingly, I do get beauty cravings from time to time, the same way most people have food cravings.) I ran to two different drugstores to find this polish, and ohmygosh, am I happy I did. This is one of my new favorite, perfect reds. Keep reading for product details.

003. | Living Proof Prime Style Extender

Having thicker, static-prone hair, I’m always looking for haircare products that will not only smooth and shape my hair, but will lock my style into place for hours and hours. Especially in heat, humidity, and/or rain, I need something to give me what I call "hair insurance."  I’ve found that the Living Proof Prime Style Extender is one product that does just that. Over the past two years, I’ve been through three or four bottles of this product – that’s how well it works for me. Given that hair icon and greatest woman alive Jennifer Aniston is the co-founder of Living Proof, it’s no surprise that their products are fantastic. Read on for more details.

002. | Style Crush: Amal Alamuddin

Just this week, while browsing the web and fawning over all of the gorgeous pictures from George Clooney's recent Venice wedding, I declared to my girlfriends, "The beauty of Amal Alamuddin's wedding dress is the only thing that is making me consider getting married some day." After I finally finished admiring her gown, I started looking around at some of Ms. Alamuddin's other outfits. Not only is this woman crazy smart, incredibly accomplished, and classically beautiful, she also has a killer sense of style. I've compiled together my favorite Amal looks - keep reading to check them out!

001. | Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque

For me, the most essential part of any beauty routine is skincare. I find that when working with a smooth, clean, bright canvas, makeup applies easier, wears better, and looks more flawless. Instead of layering product on top of product to make my face look perfect, I prefer to take care of my skin and apply face products as lightly as possible. (Note: That isn’t to say that my skin is always immaculate. I, like almost everyone else, need foundation and concealer, etc., to achieve my desired look; and I most definitely have days and weeks of breakouts and redness.)

Using different masks and treatments is one of my favorite parts of my skincare routine. Once or twice a week, I try to use a deep cleansing mask to clear out my pores and rid my skin of any deeply lodged dirt and toxins. I started doing this regularly about two years ago, and my skin has improved dramatically since. Most recently, I picked up the Kiehl’s Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque, and have been extremely happy with the results so far. Keep reading to discover why I love this product.
